Silk & Wood is a UK-based online destination for
European luxury furniture and interiors for luxury homes, curated for clients who value material quality, longevity, and quiet refinement. We work exclusively with established European brands, presenting a considered selection of furniture defined by natural materials, thoughtful proportions, and enduring design.
Launched recently Silk & Wood was created in response to a clear gap in the luxury furniture market. While European design remains highly sought after, the process of sourcing and coordinating pieces across multiple brands can be complex and opaque — particularly for clients and design professionals seeking coherence rather than excess choice. Silk & Wood exists to bring clarity to that process.
Our collections are shaped by a material-first philosophy. We focus in particular on fine woods and luxury textiles such as silk, chosen for their tactile qualities, visual restraint, and ability to age gracefully within a home. Rather than following seasonal trends, we prioritise pieces that contribute to calm, well-balanced interiors and remain relevant over time.
Silk & Wood operates as a curator and sourcing resource. We do not manufacture furniture; instead, we work closely with European brands whose collections align with our principles of quality, restraint, and longevity. By limiting our selection, we are able to present furniture that works together materially and visually, supporting interiors that feel cohesive rather than composed.
Our role is deliberately discreet.
We support private clients, interior designers, and architects by providing access to European furniture with clear context around materials, finishes, and suitability for contemporary living. All imagery featured on this site is supplied by the European brands we represent and is cleared for editorial use with full credit to the original maker.
Silk & Wood was shaped by a personal project - the design and construction of our own home. That process sharpened our understanding of how material choice, proportion, and furniture selection influence the way a space is lived in day to day. It reinforced a belief that furniture is not simply decorative but deeply personal contributing both function and character to a home over time.
